Verify Date Availability
Submission of the Reservation Form does not guarantee availability of the dates you indicated on it. You must call us at 1-800-274-8371 to verify whether openings exist for your preferred week. Moreover, we can inform you of any special deals we might offer for particular weeks of the season.

Arrange for Travel to Anchorage
Guests must make their own travel arrangements from point of origin to Anchorage. Because there is no commercial airline service to Goodnews Bay, the only village on the Goodnews River, we have arranged a private charter via a completely renovated Super DC-3 to take you directly from Anchorage to Goodnews Bay. The flight takes about two hours, and we'll have you fishing that afternoon!

You will need to be in Anchorage on the Tuesday before your week starts, as the charter leaves from Anchorage Airport at 9:00am on your Wednesday departure day.

Book a Hotel Room in Anchorage
Your adventure to the Goodnews River Lodge requires an overnight stay in Anchorage. Because lodging in Anchorage can be difficult to obtain during peak season, we suggest that you book a room early. Our Pre-Trip planner contains suggested hotels both at the airport and downtown.
